Headed to Gettysburg in September. Where should we camp?

Can anyone give us some recommendations on Gettysburg campgrounds? We will be there about a week. Thanks!

When we went a few years ago we stayed at Roundtop Campground. Was clean but nothing special. I have heard a lot of good things adout the KOA since then

Stayed at "Drummer Boy" before, but I heard they may have new owners.......Not sure now. Lots to do there, in the area.

Jayne, we live in Pa and do a lot of camping in Gettysburg. We like Granite Hill, Roundtop and Gettysburg campgrounds. There is so much to do in Gettysburg.. You are going at a great time, every weekend there is something going they are celebrateing the 150th anniversery of start of the Civil War. We have been going alot. When you have the dates that you will be arriveing let us know maybe we could meet you there and have a mini Rally. We know the Mgr. of Granite Hill. Just make sure you ask for a pull thru site at Granite Hill ask to talk to Chris. Let us no if you are instrested in getting together. Hope you have a safe trip.

Jayne,
We were there last October and stayed in the Artillery Ridge Campground. Nothing fancy, just basics but OK. We stayed about 4 days. They will give you Passport America rates if you are a member.
