This resort was mentioned in the Woodall's e-mail I recieved today http://www.newportdunes.com/#

I was just wondering if anyone here has stayed there. Looks nice on the Web, but pricey, especially during the summer.

I have stayed there. Their best feature is their location. On the back bay of Newport harbor, and close to everything. The spaces are adequate, but snug for large rigs with slides on both sides. Lots of families visit for summer vacations. The prices are steep, and bay view spaces are very high. I was amazed at how many full time and mobile homeless/workers with lots of clutter in the sites are allowed to stay their. They have lots of rules but seem to selectively enforce them as far a site clutter, and time limits. Reservations are a must if you do not want to be moved from space to space.

Thanks Dana. Sounds like the association running the complex where we had a condo.
