There is not anything good in Sandpoint but a fairly nice campground in Hope Id just up the road still on the lake. http://www.sandpoint.com/go/islandview/

Farragut State Park is south of Sandpoint. We have stayed there many times and I would highly recommend staying there

Here is some pictures of the large and paved campsites with electric and water, no sewer but a dump station

We've never been to Farragut State Park but have heard good reports from fellow campers. Maybe one day we'll get a chance to visit the park.

Well I guess I should say no commercial type campgrounds. I dont stay in state parks so guess never thought of that one.
