This is a really nice park the workers and staff are very friendly. Prices are reasonable for Ca $48 per night 700 a month. the beach is a 5 min walk clean showers and bathrooms . Right in the heart of central Ca wine country. Hearst Castle is 25 miles north and if you like colorful rocks you take a drive to moonstone beach. We have been going there for 3 years and just love the area. Make a reservation way out as possible :thumbrt: They also have a web site.

Cool! That's good to know about that campground.
When we managed retirement homes in Napa we would make the run from Monterey to San Simeon in our Sebring convertible. Love that area. We would stay at motels in Monterey, Carmel and San Simeon. We tried to get over there about once every month or two. Watching the elephant seals on the beach by Hurst Castle was amazing...the babies and the 4000 pound bull males. May have to make a trip there next winter.
Thanks for the info!

The elephant seals are still there and more of them every year, you are right they are amazing to watch. The big males are really funny after about 20 yds of movement and they run out of gas and have to rest for 20 min :))
