Any one who has this 5th wheel, would like to know if you are happy with your choice.

Go for it and have a ball. We have the 31RKLE, but can't be much different.
No major issues that I could not handle, which I am sure is the case for any model. Sometimes I get a crick in my neck watching TV, but we don't use it much. I can watch TV playing couch potato at home.

Ours is the 29 rkle and we love it.

Ditto what Mikey says!!!!! Love ours! Don't even mind the TV being so high in the entertainment center. I lounge on the sofa, hubby on the recliner next to the kitchen counter! Great plan and lots of storage.

We should have it in about 6-8 weeks.

We have the 29 RK and solved the tv issue by moving the tv space down in to the "desk area" and using the old tv area for more storage space. I used the same doors and had a cabinet shop drill a couple of oak boards I purchsed at a local lumber yard with recessed screw holes to fit the upper cabinet so the doors would have a "factory fit look". The cabinet looks like it came from the factory with the relocated lower tv space. Congrats on your new coach........enjoy!

Great idea, Dave! I have toyed with that very same idea... Might have to contemplate it a bit further and DO it! LOL! We have addeed shelves to almost every cabinet in ours, so it would be no big deal to move the doors and shelves up to the opening and put the TV lower. Donna

I studied that and wondered how you get the TV out. Really stuck in there.

Hello....We have one! We just brought her home last month. As a matter of fact, we are leaving tomorrow on our "maiden voyage". We are makeing our first trip not too far from home here in NM so we can get used to everything and work out the "bugs".
Using the word "excited" doesn't even come close! We keep her at our home and have been loading her up and running everything we can. Have to admit we even had dinner and a bottle of wine in her to celebrate! I'm sure the neighbors think we have lost our minds.
As for the design...we had decided we wanted a rear kitchen, but the "bathroom" is what totally sold me. I love having everything in the one room. Total privacy for us and out guests.
We are excited for you...congrats! and happy trails to you!

I thought having my tv so far up would be an issue too, but after DW and I are sitting in the two recliners, not having to look "down" at the tv is better! We like the tv up high. Couch viewing wouldn't be as nice, but we both would rather each have a recliner!

Certainly try yours out and see what you think. We like to watch movies, and reclining in the chairs is VERY comfortable!

The television is held down by the wood platform it sits on. Unscrew the screws around the edge of the tv that fasten the wood to the cabinet floor. Then the wood platform and all will come out easily. Then you can unscrew the platform from the tv base.

Be careful, it's very heavy! Also note the tv will not fit in the cabinet space below it since it is not as high as where it sits now. That's why I recommend the new LCD flat screens. A). they are much lighter in weight, and B). they have a better picture.

My Sony 32" Bravia HDTV will perch easily on the flip out desk in the multi-media cabinet. Only problem is it requires a better quality DVD player to get the best hi-res picture. I don't usually worry about all that though since we like to go for the fishing, outdoor cooking, etc. It's just nice to know it's there.
