Sidewinder pin box coupler

Post by Crismon4 »

At the RV show we looked at the Sidewinder pin box coupler from Fabex. Spoke at length with the Servce/Parts manager from Curtis RV as well. I know that Keystone lists these as standard with their Challenger line and wondered if any Cardinal owners had a Sidewinder.....or knew if Forest River recommended them? I'll call Forest River tomorrow, but thought it made sense to check with you all....those with real world experience :)

We're moving from a TT to a FW and thought we'd have to go with an auto-slide, but the Sidewinder looks very appealing given that the Sidewinder stays with the trailer and gives a bit more versatility on FW hitches (i.e. cost savings).

Thanks!

I don't have experance with either but going on the bases of fewer moving parts is better; I would go with the Sidewinder. IMHO
