Bedroom TV ?

We just got around to hooking up the bedroom tv and with only one tv jack it appears we can only use the camper antenna. One more thing I should have checked. Just assumed antenna, cable and satellite would be available in the bedroom as in the living room.

Am I over looking something?

Interesting, after reading your message I went out to our trailer and checked our bedroom. Our bedroom has cable and satellite connections but no TV antenna connection. Our only TV antenna connection is in the living room cabinet.

Ours has cable and sat in the bedroom. When we got it they were backwards but the dealer fixed it.

mine has cable and sat also. Although they were reversed, my cable side works on cable and the TV antenna.

I am believing that reversed is normal out of the factory.

Mike are you saying the your TV antenna and the outside cable connection are connected together in the bedroom?

We just plugged our bedroom tv into the connection and it works...I know that when not hooked to cable we can turn the antenna to get a better pic in the bedroom. So it must be together in the cable connection somehow.

My connections were the same as described above. I switched covers and all was well after doing some trouble shooting.

Did Y'all figure that out yet !!! Forrest River is consistiently consistent in their issues when it comes to these RV's. Mine, in the bedroom was marked satellite, but when checked was actually the CABLE.

Wait til the water pump hose losens up and leaks, you'll laugh so hard trying to fix it (hint: when you tighen it at the pump it loosens at the Y connector, creating another leak)

Have fun - I sure have, my frirnds is a 2006 model and when something goes wrong on mine it usually has happened on his already.

Wouldn't trade it for nothing - Beats going to work each day

Now I don't feel so bad. I thought mine was the only one backwards.

Mark, what I found interesting is that Forest River doesn't know water and electrical don't mix. I sprung a fresh water leak last year and was able to locate it inside the power distribution box! Had it been a city water leak I could have had all my electrical hosed down. Culprit? Loose fittings on the water line. Both water and electrical are side-by-side in the same box! What were they thinking?

Oh, by the way, just last Saturday I was on an outing with full hook-ups at Big Bear Lake, California. The city water did spring a leak this time on the same location. This time I used some pliers and a few choice words.
