It seems as though most folks here have rigs exceeding 35 feet. Do you do a lot of camping in public campgrounds? If so, have you had any trouble getting in there sites and navigating there narrow tree lined roads? We have experienced that most public campgrounds limit the size of rigs to 35'. We do the majority of our camping in public parks for the convenience of being close to hiking trails and nature in general. Therefore, we try to keep our rigs to under 35'. Just curious as to why all the large rigs.

In my case it is because it is our permanent home. We carry trailer life and woodall's guides and if a government facility cannot handle our length we look for a private facility nearby. To us having the extra space is worth not getting in every place. I have been towing a 36 footer since 2003 and have noticed more government facilities upgrading due to general demand as the population buys bigger rigs.

I stayed with the 29 foot because I travel to National Parks a lot and for the most part there limit is nothing over 30 feet in many of the parks whose campgrounds were developed before 1965. My 29WBLX measures 32 feet from hitch to back end and fits in many parks.
