OK, we’ve order our new Cardinal, what are the extras we need, specifically for a 5th wheels. Things like grill, chairs, sewer and water hoses are common to RVing, but what do we need to purchase that is common to the 5th wheel? We’ve used Camping World in the past for most of our things, what other places have you found as a good source for RV stuff?

Thanks for the help

Roto chok makes some of the finest wheel chocks on the market, but you will probably have to wait for delivery to measure between the tires as they are custom made. Also start researching hitches to see what you want.

Thanks for the information, I just looked at the web site for the Rotochok and it looks like a great idea.

I’m leaning towards a Reese 18K Signature Series hitch. It will carry 18,000 lb gross / 4,500 pin weight capacities, 4 degree side to side head pivot and will work in the 8’ bed that we have ordered. At this point it is the only one that I have researched. We did order with our 30TS the Trail Air Pin Box and suspension.

I have the Drawtite 18K Signature (same as a Reese) and love it. Most places other then a RV park you have to level the trailer side to side by blocking the landing gear and or wheels, and then drop it off the hitch. The 4 degree tilt makes it easier to hook back up. I also like the one piece jaw, not much doubt about it being closed around the pin. I've not noticed any clunk sound.
