Leak caught in time!

We have only had our 30TS since July 1st. 3 of the 4 times that we went camping it has been sunshine the whole time. Last weekend it rained and thank God that it did. When we got back to the RV, there was a water spot on the bedspread directly below the speaker above the bed. Water was coming in thru there. When the camper was parked at home, ofcourse we didnt notice it either because the slide was in and when it rained the water went ontop of the slidein portion and from there where it went? Heaven knows. Anyway, we took it back to our dealer, Berryland Campers in Hammond, Louisiana, and we were treated with royalty. They said to get it in there as soon as possible. Today the call came saying that the rubber boat (or boot) that was covering the cable antenna had come off and that was why it was leaking. While on the roof, they inspected it fully only to find a big slice in the rubber roof at one corner. It was done in the manufacturing plant and someone did not take care of business and fix it. Berryland, who is one of the biggest Cardinal dealers in the US, called Forest River and was granted permission to put a complete new rubber roof on our unit. Was that luck or what!!!! We were so very grateful that they took the time to call FR. They could have just put a new rubber boot on the cable antenna and called it good and we would have had tremendous problems down the road, but chose the other route. Hopefully all will be successfully fixed and we can travel again!
