I have ST 235.80R16E's on my 31RK. I'm wondering if anyone has replaced these with 85's? My size is very hard to find, and I just wonder if the clearances are ok if I switch to the 85's.
Has anyone done this successfully (or not). Thanks Mark

I just switched back to 235/85/R16 E rated Firestone Transforce HT tires on my 29WBLE. Had to after one of my Carrier tires blew and I then said I've had it with Kenda tires. No problems with them fitting or clearing anything. Only thing I had to do was put my small wedges back on me ROTOCHOKS which took about ten minutes.

My Michelin's are the same way have a little over 2+" between the tires. I also use Rotochocks.

Had the bottom rear corner of the fairing over the tires on the slide out rub a bit. There's some flex there. Trimmed it back where it was rubbing, no other problem with the LT235R/16/85 Michilian XPS tires, even when I pull onto the shoulder to let traffic pass while climbing a steep grade or driving thru potholes on a dirt road.
