KITCHEN DRAIN HOSE LEAK

Post by ODSmith »

We have a 2008 Cardinal 30TS which we bought in May of 2007 and have used a number of times. This past weekend we filled the kitchen sink and when we drained it we had a profound water leak. Had to take it back to the dealer for repair. The flexible drain hose from the kitchen sink had snapped off at the point where it was attached to the hard pipe. A panel had to be removed on the cabinet next to the sink to access the fitting. The dealer said they had never seen this happen before but looking at the angle the hose was bent at the connection when the slide was out I have to wonder if this is a design flaw. There appears to be a lot of tension on that connection. Has anyone else had this problem? The Tech who worked on it said he moved a bracket to allow more slack in the hose hoping that would prevent a future problem.

leaking kitchen sink hoses

We had a similar problem with out 2006 30TS. I think that the hoses just loosen up from vibration. took it back to the dealer and they fixed it up no problem. Haven't had any problem since.
