Update on my "final???" slide out repair

Post by markj »

You may recall several of my posts about the problems i've had with my large slide out in my 31RK. It came in too far at the top, not far enough at the bottom; cutting the trim at the top. After several trips to the dealer for adjustment, FR authorized a tear down to replace the half inch aluminum angle iron that stop the inward path of the slide at the top/sides with one inch. Chad Green was very helpful through this process.

Now it stops just short of hitting at the top, although it does creep in about half inch when towing. I'm not sure it will not hit the top again later, but is definately better.
