Did the 2008's improve the stove vent fan exhaust?

These are discussions that contain lots of good info, so did not want to eliminate it. It has closed so we can take advantage of making the forum easier to find what you are looking for.

Did the 2008's improve the stove vent fan exhaust?

Post by markj »

It seems quite bizzare to me that they designed my 31RK with the exhaust fan over the stove blowing the air through the filter and BACK INTO THE RIG!!!!!!!! All that condensation stays in the rig--I guess. I'm wondering if not only the 2008's changed that, but if anyone has had the fan exhaust altered to vent outside?

Why did they design that in the first place? :?: :x :?

Hi Mark, I don't know why Cardinal elected not to vent the exhaust outside but that issue is not unique to Cardinals. A friend that we camp with a lot has a 5 year old Sunny Brook and his does not vent outside.

Here's a link to a message regarding outside venting from one of our members last summer: http://cardinalrvclub.org/redbird/viewt ... light=vent

He actually installed an outside vent.

Our dealer told us that it would be vented to the outside.
