Ceiling Wall Paper Wrinkling

The ceiling wall paper near the battons is wrinkling. Forrest River would not repair it under warranty since our rig is four years old. But, they did send us new battons which are wider than the originals. Has anyone had any success in correcting this problem? I have heard that using a hair dryer or steam to heat up the area to soften the glue and then use a damp rag to smooth it out. Thanks

I have the same problem. However, I haven't tried to fix it for fear of making it worse.

Forgive me for asking guys, but are you talking of the soft touch ceiling? I'm just trying to figure this one out.

The ceiling in our rig is not soft touch. The ceiling is covered with a very thin material resembling wall paper.

Ok thanks, I've not experienced this yet perhaps because we full-time and the rig never gets to temperature extremes.

Mike,

My trailer has the little strip just above the cabinets and in the toliet room. It has curled up at different times. I took some wall paper glue and lightly coated the wall behind the strip and reattched it and it seems to be holding.

We had that in the kitchen area and the bathroom. I took some warm water and went over those areas and smoothed it out seems to have held so far.
