A Few More Lazy Man Toys Installed

Post by Olbird »

I Just installed four more gadgets to play with while camping, Santa was good to me I had a Cardinal Christmas from the wife and kids.

Electric steps, AC/DC Amp. & Voltage monitor, wall mounted built-in charger that stores four two-way radios out of sight, auto hydraulic leveling jacks and a hand held remote control slide control system.

The attached picture show a few of my new toys mounted at the entry door wall.

Cool stuff George! Glad santa was so good to you, he only sent us one gift this year but it holds the leather interior I always wanted and the automatic transmission the wife wanted back. We're both happy so no complaints

Hello Rob,

They are made by VENA at www.vena.com
Camping World has them about $270.00 but from time to time someone that works for or just has a connection with VENA sells them on e-bay for as low as $102.00. In November he sold at less eight of them, they display more than just AC/DC Volts and Amps, they show Watts, Temperature, Time and alarms when you are pulling too much power or if the campground voltage drops below the defalt or your own set-points.

Nice little toy.

Thanks George, I'll have to keep my eyes open for one of those VENA monitoring systems.

Of course now I'm intrigued by your other toys. Do you have any photos or information on any of the above?

I just started installing my remote control MAXIS system that will control seven different operations from outside the camper when setting up at the camp site.
I have mine setup to work the slides while standing beside them, work the rear electric jacks, work the front landing gear, work the scare lights while driving up at night from the truck, dump the holding tanks by remote.

I attached a picture of the location I installed the unit.

Well, George, you know the first time is practice. The second time is for real. I will bring our Cardinal over for the second time!
