Rubber roof

Post by Don Wilson »

Linda,

The rubber roof on my fifth wheel has bubbles and wrinkles in it as well.

I have been on top of two trailers other than my Cardinal and they both had the bubbles and wrinkles as well. I talked to the people at Camping World about it and they told me that it was normal. The service guy told me it allowed for expansion and contraction in the heat and cold!!

I don't know for sure if that is a fact, but there have been no problems with mine. There will be someone on the site who has more knowledge than I have that may be able to give you more information.

Hi Linda

I'm with Don, that's just the nature of the beast with these new membranes they're using. It's perfectly normal.

Yep with the newer style rubber roofs its normal to have some wrinkles and bubbles. As it sits in the sun they will come and go.
