Wow, that is going to be some rig! :thumbrt: What a way to keep the bugs off the front of the trailer. Will you be putting the Miss Elly sign on this one?
You'll have to get a video recording of peoples reaction when Sharon drives the full rig into a campground. =))

No Earnie, Miss Ellie will always be Miss Ellie. This one will be named "The Critter Cruizer" Sharon says she will learn to drive the truck, but will not tow with it. We'll see.

Matt this one not set to top, I think it is set at 470 hp and 1650 tq can be programmer to 515 hp & 1850 tq. In the interest of some fuel economy I will try it at current settings.

Funny that none of the truckers report dot coms mention oil leaks. Sounds like a ford bs Chevrolet type conflict. Cummins is noted for expensive EGR valve problems and the newer cats have issues too. Any of those 3 are easy to find repair shops for so not really concerned. We shall see.
Well.for what it's worth................................the Fire trucks we have , all the ones with Detroit Diesel motors........leak oil all the time, we all most call them "Instant Oil Change" rigs.............. :joke: .

But they are older than your new rig, so , hopefully you won't have issues............. :thumbrt:

Finally got to dribble my own drool over the new tv today. Don't think this grin will leave my face any time soon. It was running smooth and sounding powerful, hope to try it out in March. Added a few pictures to my album at http://s65.photobucket.com/albums/h232/ ... 20Cruizer/ Going to add a few personal touches like painting front fenders and lower skirts blue to match the Smart! By the way it was running on high idle for 30 minutes while we were there and had NO oil under it.

In the bed building shop now Mike, I will not get to pick it up until after my next work tour. Added a bit of extra work when I stopped and saw it in Dec, having front fenders and lower skirts painted blue to match the Smart. That should give it a bit of a classic look. Hopefully early March. Should look similar the link below but blue and tandem axle. Same model truck & sleeper style.

That picture is one that 2L (where mine is) just finished, from the same fleet return. Bed will be very similar without the drom box as that will be Smart Car area. That particular one was a total repaint (the white on mine is still decent so only painting the blue) and had his complete interior treatment (full leather etc) which I will not be doing as I have a budget.

Looks like a great rig. From your pictures it appears the interior is in very good shape!

Are you still going to get rid of the stack?
