Chevy/GM Auto Towing Mirrors
Chevy/GM Auto Towing Mirrors
Took my TV to my local Chevy dealer today to have the oil changed and purchase an extended warranty. Got that done and also told them that my towing mirrors were sticking occasionally when I wanted to extend them. The mechanic finally got one to stick and they are replacing both Friday. As the mechanic said, they just have cheap plastic gears. Anyone else here had problems your GMC auto extending mirrors? Just curious. Tim

Sounds strange, mine is a LT3 and still pull-out manual type???Tim wrote:Talked to the local Chevy folks yesterday, actually the truck manager, and he stated they offer the automatic mirrors with the LT package. The new one work fine.

Have to agree with your thoughts as well, saw two 07 D/A 3500 duallies on the lot and one was an LT, both had the manual mirrors. I like the design, more functional than the ones I have as the bottom portion includes a convex mirror.
