Cummins 6.7 break in procedure

Post by Jim&Peggy »

"New engine break in. According to the 2007 Owners Manual. "CAUTION! During the first 500 miles your new vehicle is driven, DO NOT TOW A TRAILER. Doing so may damage your vehicle."

"Limit your speed to 50 MPH duing the first 500 MILES OF TOWING." Boy,at 50 mph thats going to be a time consuming trip to California!!

We picked up the truck Wednesday and think it looks "real purty" More later on MPG, etc. Regards Jim

P,S that Jake Brake really works well!!
