New Truck ordered today

New truck comming Ordered my last ride today . SRW Laramie Longhorn 8 ft bed and optioned out ! Hopefully 12 to 16 wks.

Wow! How many miles on the “old” one. It looks brand new. Dodge beefed up horsepower and torque last year. The new one will out perform the old one, if that seems possible. Can’t wait to see it.

Dave I have a friend who purchased a Toyota Avalon several years ago and put a license plate holder on it that read "My Last Car," The same license plate holder is now on a newer Avalon than the original.Yep bought a new car and just moved the plate holder.

Well Nick I took your example and ordered my New 2020 Chevy Duramax 4x4 3500 High Country and yes bells and whistles included. Mine isnt due to be here until Feb . But I will wait for Chevy truck month to make deal. I will show you mine if you show me yours ( LOL)

Nick I got the truck on 3-2 promptly put 500 miles on it so I could tow the trailer. WOW what a difference in Technology, Cameras all over the place and love the new Nav map system

Well the new truck is great. The 2020 Chevy offers the ability to track 5 different trailers. You create a profile on each trailer you tow. From the cardinal to a boat to a utility trailer. It will track the mileage of each trailer, when the bearings are due to be repacked or other items we need to inspect. Secondly the cameras are outstanding with one exception. The rear camera for the 5th wheel is on a cable which attaches to the bumper plug about the seven prong 5 th wheel plug. The cable is not long enough to reach the rear of my trailer. Too bad they did not make an upgrade to read or integrate with the current backup camera ( Furrion). That would have been sweet. There is a second rear camera cable which is to monitor the inside of the trailer. I suspect mostly for animal transport and such? Or maybe to watch our empty Cardinal as we go down the road for hitchhikers. Thirdly , When the trailer is hooked up the additional turn signal camera is activated. This allows you to see down the side your turning into on the middle monitor screen. I love this feature. The ten speed transmission is wonderful. No sense of shifting at all even with the trailer hooked up. The exhaust brake is improved and works better than my last. The last thing I leave you with is the rear view mirror. It has normal everyday mirror image in the rear view we are all used to plus a camera activated view which is just like watching TV. It can be disconcerting. MOre to follow if your interested?

Yes Don It did come in about a month ago. I just forgot to post it. It has some really great electronics in it. 12 inch screen different cameras for different purposes. It even warns you of vehicles beside your trailer. The thing I like most are the electric step that comes out when you open the door. It is lower when open than the nerf bars so getting in and out is much easier. Nicest interior of any truck I have owned. All leather and real wood . Will send you a pic to post if you would.
