New Truck Tires?

I have about 32000 miles in my 2012 F350 SRW Cooper tires. They have been good tires but were initially purchased because we still faced the snowy Colorado winters and needed a more aggressive tread. Today we live in N.C. where snow is non existent.
I am starting to consider new tires as these are wearing down enough that a cross country trip could put us in the risk zone.
Was wondering what E-rated truck tire you would recommend for highway/rain/towing?

Mike, what do you lower your tire pressure to? Front? Rear?

I always go back to Michelin Defender LTX M/S highway tire. They last and perform best for me. My Fords have come new with Continental ContiTrac tires. I like how they handle but I never get more than 35,000 miles on them. The Michelins get better mileage wear.

I have used Mich for 40 years. My truck has Defenders. You could not get me to change. My BMW came with Goodyear (run flat) 25,000 miles and had to change. Changed to Mich, now nearing 30,000 and cannot see any tread wear. But miles is not my first concern, safety, reliability and braking are first. I am not risking my life for $200.

Air pressure on truck, non-towing, I follow factory guide. Towing, add 5 psi front and back.

Michelin Defender is also my choice. close to 60K and still look good Keep the air pressure the same

On my other Ram SRW with Cummins I kept the front at 80psi but dropped the rears to 45psi Loaded all would be 80psi I now have a dually and really haven't changed the air pressure yet The door sticker shows for max weight of 14k lbs 80 front and 65 rear. Some would argue that it should be 80 at the rear as well but you now have 4 tires carrying the weight versus just 2.
