Went to top off last night $3.55 at local BP. Most likely will change some plans but really do not want to stay home this summer. Will look a the plus side, will give me more time to wash and wax! Now that sounds like fun

They want to give a tax rebate, Why dont they control the fuel price, I guess they dont see that it is killing us every where not just at the pump. I may soon have to get some chickens with the price of eggs.
im looking at my Myrtle beach trip this june I figure it will be $4.00/gal by then That will cost me $700 in fuel round trip. $400 for the spot for a week and $700. in fuel that is $1100 and i didnt even get food yet.
It made me shut down my car hauling, I guess next it will be my camping.

Talking to one of my co-workers here I feel we don't have it so bad as some folks. In the UK he is paying over 1 pound per liter of gas. Doing the math of 1 pound=$2 and 3.8 liters per gal thats about $7.60 per gallon. Guess thats why small cars are so popular in Europe.

Save all your bbq drippings, when you have enough to make a tank of bio-diesel, travel until you are out, then camp until you have enough again.
Slow trip, but just make sure you are going downhill all the time.

I dont live in the UK and that dont make it any better to me, sorry
they play us, If we drop the demand down by useing less then they cut back the probuction to keep it in high demand for the suply. I guess exon moble only Made 46.6 BILLON profit and that is just not enough.

Yep, that's the free market economy at it's best. Of course the free market only works if there's true competition.

But the good news is the fact that the government is allowing drilling off the east and west coasts and in Anwar. In addition, twelve new refineries are being built.

The east coast, west coast and Anwar oil fields will not make a dimes worth of difference in what we pay for fuel at the pumps. US oil companies aren't going to dig in those areas to bring our prices down. They want the oil to sell on the world market at the world market prices.

And because the price of corn has sky rocketed (due to bio-fuels), the price of flour is going up. So you can’t eat once you get there.

Just out of curiosity, is there anyone in the club that uses bio-diesel on a regular basis?
