Yes. I installed it myself and absolutely love it. There is a section of road that we frequently use that has a bad washboard effect as you approach the stop sign. It would drive my previous controller crazy and result in everything from no trailer brakes all the way through locking the wheels. The Max Brake works perfect there and other places because it does not use a pendulum or other inertia system to determine braking power.

I'm going to hyd. disk Brakes and I need to upgrade my controler, I dont think the prodigy I have is made to work with the eletric over hyd actuator.
Any one want to upgrade to a prodigy?
Thanks for the reply I just wanted to hear from some ones real world testing. :thumbrt:

Prodigy does work with Carlisle (most popular) hyd actuator. In fact Mor-Ryde said when they installed my discs that they have the best results with Prodigy and the hyd unit. I do not know which others will work with the hydraulic unit, but can vouch for the Prodigy working with discs.

No on the actuator, but yes on the controller. I'll try to find a link to my actuator.

Not using one of the additional units but it is working correctly. My actuator might be an older model that does not need it?

I installed the MaxBrake controler before i went up to pinegrove,(twinn grove KOA) no disk brakes yet But I wanted to see how well it would work with the drum brakes.
The controler is By far the best controler I ever used. works great, Unreal how much smoother the rig stoped. www.plugitright.com sells them now if your looking for one. I cant wait to see how well it works with the disk brakes. All the disk brakes showed up here sat. But i left the camper up at the camp ground cause im going back up next sat. Just wanted to report on how it worked They are not cheep But they work well. I guess you get what you pay for.
