Hey Mike, We may have to (dare I say it) buy a Ford as opposed to buying a Goverment Motors truck. =(( :ymdevil: Boy, I hope this one lasts a long time. :))

Since I started this post, I have to put up some kind of defense for the Dodge Goat. But we do have a lot of pipeline welders in my area right now, which seems like 50 trucks working the Hansville Shell . I do see more Dodges and Fords. Lately from what I personnally have seen that it is mostly Dodges 4x4 diesels that they are driving. Sorry to have to report, but I don't see too many Chevy's. maybe Fords up in the norht pushing snow blades, but down here in NW louisiana, its mostly Dodges working the pipe-lines. :ymhug:

Well guess thats what makes the world go around, while we were in Bend last week about 90% of all the tow rigs were Chevy when I had my Dodges saw a lot of them at the time. Seems to go in cycles and depends on where you are at. Owned a ford once and im sure they have come a long way. I never say never, always said I would never own a Dmax or an Apple computer, well now i have them both and they are the best two things I have bought in a long time. Hope I will enjoy the new Cardinal just as much.

Oh yes I remember reading about your new camper on order. I do not remember when it's birthdate is supposed to be, but Ican positively say your going to be like a kid in a candy store. I want to start some ruckus here so if the Chevy can't handle the new camper... just call and I will come over and haul it for you. This way I can brag and tell everyone it's my new camper! :D
When is it due?

There ain't nothin like the first time picking up the new toy... the camper. I can remember how bad my knees shook when I was trying to walk into the dealers office to finish the paperwork. I never had this problem with buying new trucks that I can remember, but this camper took the cake for me. I'm taking it for a maiden voyage Friday up to Fayetteville,ARK this weekend just to see how the new quiet truck will perform in the mid range mountains. I'm guessing you're going to have the same experience even though you are an seasoned camper. heheheh

My daughter loves to brand count, one day it is Dodge the next it is Chevy the next 14 it's Ford 8) ......Just kidding, it all seems to even out in the end. They all have the goods and the bads, but if I stray from the oval I will be cut out of the will

Mike , I think I will stay blind and never see the light. I was raised on Fords my dad used to race them. But again thats what makes the world go around. Oh and by the way Ford didn't ask for a loan from the Goverment. Just some food for thought. I look forward to meeting you guy's some day.

If I can remember back that far, my first three trucks were the oval. I just like the straight six diesel and if the oval ever gets smart and puts it in there truck.... I'm coming back home! To tell ya the truth, I 'm really glad they haven't because I like this one so much! It would be so hard to depart from it. All three brands have advanced to the point where its so easy to get loyal to each product. Yup! I said the THREE manufacturers. Hope this truck is quiet in the hills so I won't have to reply back Monday and say." I have to eat crow over the truck sound."
