Chief 409, my point being before I would take my truck to WALMART I would at least take it to someone that specializes in the work that I want done be it tires, oil changes or dealer work.
As a Calif Hwy Patrol officer with 30 years of enforcement driving, I would not trust ANYBODY with my vehicle but the dealer for competent work. As for my Dodge I have been an Amsoil dealer/preferred customer since 1982 and use nothing else in my vehicles. That said I change my own oil and filters. I don't know what "Lube Points" you refer to but late model vehicles have very few lube points on them and if they are missed by anybody in that business maybe they should look for different line of work.
