A mini-Tunnel motor GP-15 on Michelin's, with Rio Grande paint, hauling a Cardinal.

THAT would be something on I70 through Utah and Colorado! =))

I bought mine used and it was a buy back. A little research to determine why and 21 minutes to fix it. Had to sign lots of paper work to keep it on the warrantyt too. Last April I tried to stay with one of the ego drivers up a hill and took out a head gasket. Its a FORD so I drove it from Cincinnati to Chattanoga to make the rally last April. Got the heads etc replaced in Chattanoga (under warranty) then proceeded to Dallas and back to Detroit.

Just do the above listed research to make your decision.

This truck has 39,000 miles on it and I can get it for 19,000. Will this truck pull this Bird or is it to big or to small or do I need to look at Chevy.
Any help on this will be very helpful.

I would agree that if you can stand the dually, get the dually. We pulled a 11K 5er with a F250 single and it did just fine but switched to a crew cab F350 (stayed with the older model to stay in the 7.3D) to get the kid out of the front seat. The pull with the 350 is a much more comfortably, less stressfull pull. I am a Ford guy but I think the Chevy's and Dodges get better MPG. I have an article on the 6.0 from some diesel mag. It mentioned that most of the 6.0's had little trouble as long as left in stock. It was when programmers (chips) were added that the unit began showing it's faults.
