Well it Happened!!!!
Turned onto an unlevel campground road today and the underside edge of the 5th wheel hit the bed rail on the driver's side. It dented the top of the rail by the tailgate and dented the moulding on the camper. Neither dent is real bad but hated to see it happen on our first trip out with the new truck. Now I'm wondering how many more times this will happen since I don't have the recommended 6" clearance.

Re: Well it Happened!!!!
I have 8" of clearance and would not want any less. Came close one time backing down a hill over crowned driveway. Darn lucky I saw it in time to try different approach to campsite.
