Diann & I are off to the shop to work on the 'Bird. Then I think we'll go for a ride.

I see you added side steps, looks great and helps climb in & out.
Did you put the 5th wheel hitch in yet, when Mike put his hitch in brackets was not made for the 2011 yet.

John,

According to the latest Trailer Life towing guide your truck can probably pull my house away without putting any wheels on it :d . Guess you don't have to worry about overloading it. :thumbrt:

Are you having your hitch installed by a dealer?

General RV is going to install the new Reese 20k with custom frame rails this coming Thursday. I'm having Line-X done on Tuesday.

When I was in Pennsylvania and Maine I washed all my vehicles once a week, at a "drive thru" wash which also washed the Bottom of the vehicle. Even with "Rusty Jones" undercoating the salt and sand used on the roads would eat the body in three or four years otherwise. I STILL have my Bronco, the washing works.

The running boards are a necessity. On my '48 Dodge they were standard equipment, now they're an option. Progress, and trucks are lots bigger now!

OBTW, that's a sweet rig, I can understand getting out and washing it in sub-zero weather! :thumbrt:

We were at the shop today working on the rig and Diann pulled all of the lightweight kitchen ware out and was going to start adding real plates, glasses and silverware. I thought paper plates and cups were great. I didn't need to carry any water. Hmm! I guess I'll be carrying some water now.

Jeff, I wash the bottom of my vehicles all the time in the winter. Road salts eats them up otherwise.
Thanks for the compliment. :thumbrt:

Cool! I really like the Reese we've got. When I had the Dodge we had a Pullrite. I really liked it except when it came to unhooking it if the truck and trailer weren't straight and level.

You may have to add some air to those training wheelz :))

Enjoy that up coming trip. How long do you plan on being on the road?
