Inpressed with the 07 ram

Post by Diesel Dave 04 »

Got a chance this weekend to really see the differance between my 04 f-350 and the 07 ram. The one campground we go to is on the other side of blue mountain from where we live. The ram went up the mounatin in 4th gear at 55 mph. In the past the ford would only do 43 mph at best and that was really working the truck. then the EXH. brake held me at 45 mph coming down the other side with out touching the brake. Not trying to start a truck war just i was real inpressed with the operation of the 6.7 cummins and the 68RFE trans and my tranny temps run at 150 on the road 165 in stop and go and i hit 180 backing into a site.
Im sure the 6.4 ford and the duramax will do the same im comparing back to the 6.0 powerstroke.

glad ur truck is turning out to be so good. But didn't you read MIKES post about the Chevy yesterday, the CHEVY is the only truck to own now. LOL the FORD and DODGE just cant do anything as good as the CHEVY anymore. :d

Someday I will get to see the difference between my old gasser and some sorta newer oil burner, hope I am as impressed as you.

DAVE, are you going to the north east rally?
