Susanna and I always do. We are back at Premier RV Resort in Salem, OR which works out great for us since our trailer is stored halfway between here and home so we just throw the stuff in the truck and pick the trailer up on the way, works out great plus its a very nice park. Truck is working great again but seems the gas side of my fridge is not up to snuff so need to get that fixed soon.

Glad you guys are having a great time! We really dragged our feet coming back home. Spent a couple of days exploring Galena, IL. We did not know it before we went there, but the town had a flash flood a couple of weeks before we got there (15" of rain in a VERY short time!) and even though the flood gates were closed in time to prevent the River from coming up the main street, the runoff from the hills behind the buildings (STEEP valley) they had flooding like 4 to 5 FEET of water in the basements of the retail stores.. LOTS of merchandise lost and sewers backed up, etc. Also, at least 3 people lost their lives, driving through road washouts.... Sure is a wake up call to NOT take things for granted and enjoy EVERY MOMENT you have together. I know WE do.... The loss at Devil's Tower was a VERY close wake up call.
Maybe some day when Susanna retires you will get over to THIS side of the Rockies and visit! LOTSA flat land between there and here, but you need to do it if you can... See you next year in Branson!

We've enjoyed this leisurely trip home. Cathy wants to be home by Monday so we'll spend a bit more time behind the wheel on our last two legs of the trip. Not a big issue since we'll be in our NW neighbor in areas that we've visited before and can visit easily from home.

Vince, it sure is... Den is a retired heavy equipment operator and worked for a plumbing outfit for almost 25 years and he was pretty sure right away what had happened.. this was about 70 or so yards from our camper.. It really made us want to just grasp every SECOND of our lives and appreciate and not take for granted the time we have here.... Wake up call for sure.....
