LOL, you know George, you could do like the rest of us do and use the on/off switch on the accessory you're using.

Well knock on wood today we should be home and truck is doing great. Will see what my overall mileage was for the trip, yesterday coming from Mountain Home into Oregon was all mountains and I got 11.3 mpg. Coming down Dead Mans Pass I locked it in 3rd gear and never had to touch the brakes, held the truck and trailer at 45 mph and every once in a while had to hit the gas pedal to speed it back up a little. Got to love exhaust brakes. :thumbrt:

I have not had time to figure out my overall mileage yet but after filling up today and running some items back out to the trailer 64 miles 80% freeway I think I might have broke the truck in the rest of the way on this last trip. My mileage on the freeway is normally 19 to high 20's today driving 65 mph this is what I got. (my computer is very accurate )

But won't tell you if the passenger has their seat belt on. Is there a way to tell when its in regen?

The new def fix has been increasing mph. So I've read. Yours looks to have increased.

I really don't see how a flash for the def waring system would effect your mileage. I have a light that flashes when the other seatbelt is not on. If you do not have someway to monitor the regens the ONLY two ways to tell when you are in regen is one if your watching your average mpg it will drop some, the other is if you come to a stop your idle will be up around 300 rpm

I hear you on the the def upgrade and mpg. But you're reading what I'm reading.
Thanks on the regen info. I'm waiting until Edge gets their latest software released before I get one.

John when I left Hill City I noticed looking at my records it went up about 1 mpg which is where i got the flash. Still do not understand why that would effect it but I also did some reading today and many have noticed increased mileage.

Mike, I liked the mileage on your DIC but I like the 62* temp even more. I wish you could send some of that cool Oregon air our way. We're getting tired of the brutal heat down here. BTW I got my recall letter today. I haven't had a DEF problem so I'm reluctant to get the reflash but the increase in mileage that everyone seems to be getting sounds good. Of course according to the letter you basically have to get it or they could void the warranty for lack of proper maintenance. :(

Well truck goes in today for oil, filter, fuel filter and top off the DEF tank from the trip. Going to make sure I did get the recall flash and have them check the new tank install to make sure all is well since it was 100 degrees with 90% humidity and a tech that was twice my size  he did not look so good by the end of the day.

Seesh used 4 1/2 gallons of DEF in 2400 miles coming home,I don't think the dealer that replaced my tank filled it all the way at least i hope he didn't. Wont know now until the next oil change, they did check for the recall flash and I did have it on there so all is well for now. They had a really purdy 3500HD dually on the lot fully loaded :d
