It was VERY hard for me to get rid of my V10 Matt. I believe Mike and Joanne still have their V10.

I got a note from Jo Anne and Mike shortly after they got back from Mt Rushmore and they have been looking for a new Tow Vehicle too.

Congrats on the new tow vehicle and I am sure you will enjoy it.

well i willnot succumb to peer pressure! =)) For the purpose and the place we are in life our $14k investment in our truck that has $50 synthetic oil changes, has had zero problems and does everything we need it to will be staying for awhile. :thumbrt: We dont have the need for a 60k lawn ornament or the money for that matter, someday hopefully once the epa and the big 3 get on the same page and get this foolishness figured out until then its hard to go from a 230k mile gasser that has had ZERO problems and a 75k mile v10 gasser that has been just as good that are both paid for.

Trust me, every time i get in the newer trucks for the side job especially the 2010, it sparks some interest and dreams!

Until then you guys with ur fancy new trucks can keep taunting me, and ill promise not to get to envious :ymhug:

Matt you are correct, you are young and have many other more important priorities in your life.
Your truck works great for you and gets you and the family out to enjoy the wonderful outdoors, the kids will remember those camping trips forever.
When you get old like the rest of us and nothing else to spend your money on things like TV becomes important.

Be very careful at the BP stations because they are all green handles. Enjoy the new ride.

Interesting that you should mention that Ernie. I can't remember where it was but somewhere on our Rushmore trip I came across a gas pump with a green handle and did a double take to make sure it was gas.

While on the Mt Rushmore trip we found that the diesel nozzle was yellow in three or four stations :? :?: So use caution where ever you fuel up.

George when you use the word TV are you talking about Tow Vehicle or Television because there seems to be the same amount of discussion on both on the website =))

I now also pump my own in Oregon since its ok with diesel in most stations but when on the road i pull the trigger stop then smell it may look stupid but I want diesel in the tanks. I would hate to pump 90 gallons of gas out.
