I got the G2 Mike and I don't see any rings where I see them on yours.

Hmmm strange I would ask them about that also. Strange they sell tons of these in fact Ford puts their name on them to use as a tonneau cover. Sent you an email with Julians contact info he is the owner of Bak industries.

Maybe you can double check for me but in the picture I posted with the panels up against the cab shouldn't the rings be at the top of that panel?

Mike Clay wrote:Rob mine does not leak at all except around the tailgate since the sides of the tailgate are not water tight. After looking at the pictures I do need to clean the underside of the cover lol.

First fold make sure you have the weather strip on top of the latches

They must have seen what you did Mike because mine has weather strip where you put yours.

Another "Clay" fix. :thumbrt:

So Rob on your way to Jackson this year are you going to stop by Chico and get a larger tank put in?

At over 20 MPG, why would he need a larger fuel tank??? =)) =)) =)) This new diesel does not store well. OR maybe he could refuel the old short box GM's!

I have thought about that Mike but I haven't made a decision yet. Ford did change the fuel tank size form 38 to 36 gallons apparently due to the addition of the DEF tank. We'll see how things go after our 12 day Oregon trip that we start tomorrow. :thumbrt:

LOL, I'm sure that will change now that the moving parts have gotten acquainted (break-in) and I start driving it normally. :d

They're sending me two more elevator screws for the extra holes in the cover. I haven't heard back about the D-rings. However the information in the direction pamphlet says run the bungee from the D-ring to a clamp on the rail which is what I did. Maybe I have the "new and improved" version and they no long but the D-ring on the movable panel. :?
