2012 silverado 2500hd 2 wheel drive

Post by yellowbird »

just ordered a new 2102 2500hd to replace our 2008. My dealer gave up on finding a 2 wheel drive with all the goodies within 600 miles of us. There simply are none left in the 2011 model year. So I got to order one exactly like I wanted! Only thing I couldn't get was in dash factory navigation. Chevy does not offer it for 2012. I ordered a granite blue metallic with titanium leather interior and all the other goodies on it. Only drawback was that it may be 8 weeks or longer to get it. Sure am looking forward to bigger fuel tank, exhaust brake and more power!

LT options include everything available on the WT not already standard, plus a convenience package ($545) with adjustable pedals, rear park assist, universal remote, remote start, electric rear window defrost), bucket seats and console; an interior plus package with 6-way power driver seat, USB input, steering wheel audio controls, Bluetooth, locking EZ-lift tailgate, fog lamps, dual-zone climate control, backup camera in mirror ($450), navigation/backup camera ($2,250-$2,850), power passenger seat (3500 Crew), steering wheel controls, power sliding rear window ($250), power heated camper mirrors ($243), 20-inch wheels and tires, locking differential, Z71 off-road package ($180-$275) with special shocks, bump stops, 36-mm front antiroll bar, and skid plates.

Congrats on your new truck, you will love all the power and exhaust brake, if you really want the NAV Radio you better ask the dealers manager because they are wrong about the NAV Radio, in fact they just came out with a new touch screen replacement that has all the big talk on the internet.

Congratulations on the new truck! I know what it feels like waiting, it's the second time around for me, I've only bought one truck new off the lot, and have a estimated delivery time of 10/24 for my 2012!

ya'll are all correct. I got on the internet last night and found that it is available at 2K or better. After seeing all the new available RV navigation systems coming out, I think I will opt for one of them and save the difference in price to apply to a new camper. I hope they got the problems worked out regarding the DEF system! My 2008 chevy has been completely trouble free, and with only 51,000 miles on it, I'm ordering the new one to get the power upgrade, bigger fuel tank and exhaust brake.

You will love the truck its night and day even from my 08 2500. I also did not want the nav system when I got this one since my Garmin does a nice job and I can switch it from the truck to the car.
