What made you come back??

The ram never handled the 5er as well, the cummins pulled it just as well but the truck just was not enough truck. and the tranny was shuttering when i would pull out with the trailer so i saved 3 grand to do the tranny then seen this truck and put it down instead.

Is it a XLT?

Jeff
it is a Lariat with a mon roof LOL
Nice! Until my '09 I bought XLT's with the FX4 package. But for '09 the FX4 package came with a upgraded interior, basically a Lariat, and we liked that enough to get the Lariat this time.

No moon roof though. Too hot for the summers here in the desert. But the power sliding rear window works great! I just need to remember to close it when I park.

LOL, I've only used mine once and that was just to make sure it worked. When you buy off the lot you get what you get and I would have traded the electric rear window for cab clearance lights.

the power rear slider is nice but it dont get used much, I think i used it maybe 3 times in my last truck. this one I tried it to make sure it works. im going out to the shop and put it up on the lift so i can clean up the under side and touch up the frame and rears and paint the driveshafts, I wonder why they dont paint the drive shafts.

Dave the reason driveshafts don't get painted might be the same reason the couplers on a train aren't painted. So you can spot a crack if one develops. And for balance. Couplers not being painted is a Federal regulation. BTW. Just a bit of trivia I thought I'd pass on.

I have my 05 since Oct 06. Thought about trading but, just can't spend that kind of money with one in college and one getting ready to go soon. This truck has to last another 5 years.
