I wouldn't trade. But, like Rob said, need a metal collar on the truck, or carry a magnet for the DEF nozzle at some of the truck fuel islands. I understand the magnetic valve in the nozzle is to prevent someone from accidentally putting DEF into the fuel tank.

It would seem the difference is about 2 feet in height required to lift 2.5 gallons of a heavy container of urine!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Plus, one day we have to believe there will be a standard created for DEF Pumps just as there is for Diesel/gas pumps.

Napa, at least in Colo SPgs has the 2.5 gallon Def for $9.99 during June. Wally World was $11.99. Napa's is made by Valvoline....don't know if that is good or bad!

I normally buy the 2.5 gallons jugs at the Ford dealers for around $15. I did get a jug at Valero and it wasn't much cheaper at $14 a jug.

I pay 4.50 per gallon at the dealer to fill the gallon jugs or put in the truck for the same price.

Last night we were coming home for Seattle and pizza with a granddaughter, and this semi was blowing blue smoke like you could not believe it and it really was stinky. Then it stopped. When we passed it, it was a very new truck, so I decided that it had been in re-gen! So who are we kidding with storing up cr@p and then letting it out every so many miles! There has to be a better way somewhere around the corner.

Does NOT go into regen when idling. If in regen (not complete) and you come to an idle or moving slowly, the regen goes back to sleep but the rpm is still kept at 800. So parking the rig while coming off a truncated regen, its hot back there.
