Yes the tonneau covers take away some room but after trimming the pin box I have no problems.

Not to mention with mine there is a stack with the tonneau cover and still clear that

My ladder got nailed by the hotshot taking the trailer from the factory to Cheyenne, WY

To add to this .........................I have a Tonneau cover ...BUILT IN ELKHART................that is tri-fold, with NO FRAME needed inside the box.....it has its own frame on it.

It folds in 3, and is easy to put on, and take off. I use it even with my genny mounted ahead of the pin box with no clearence problems.

It is made by Advantage Co...........and called the TORZA model.

rick,
TrailAir is the manufactures name and they make many different styles of pin boxes.
It sounds like you have the TrailAir slider pin box that rocks forward and back, that model does not have the air bag.

I am sure you know the model of your trailer but are sure it is a 3150 trailer because you have three windows behind the door.

I think you have a 3450 because I know its not a 3150rl with the windows in that slide. How many slides do you have? By the way very nice. :thumbrt:

My 3150 has no windows in that slide and I think the 2011 had one about the size of my kitchen window there now.

Plus the 3150 has the hallway on the other side you can see the hallway window in this pick of the street side of my trailer

That side has the same window layout as my 3450rl... but I hope it really isn't because I believe the F250 would be over GVWR on the rear? But, my 3450rl is a 2009 so it really could be something different.
