I told you earlier "new truck", but you're so deep into this one it would really hurt to swap now. Hope the new trans works out for you.
You could also look at some colleges in TEXAS, U know like A&M or Texas Tech. What degree plan is he considering?

Bill,
No new truck here, it would double my payment. I must say that I borrowed a friends 09 F 450 and other than the 8 MPGs, I do like the truck and its for sale. ( some test drive..2000 miles).
Justin is looking for sports management/marketing. He and Fern have researched it to death. I think some schools were ruled in/out for distance from NY since I do not fly.

Great weekend in Hershey, (never too much chocolate) Truck is almost there. There is a bad shift solonied in tow haul mode. It wants to down sift too fast into a lower gear. I went to a local Ford dealer who took me in on a Friday with no appointment. When not in tow haul it operates as it should. I drove it all the way home OUT of tow haul and the trans did well. A little slower up some long hills but temps never went up. It goes to my dealer tomorrow to have it replaced and hopfully that will be the end of it!!

Well, I knew it was to good to be true! Trans still has issues. Just sent the company responsable an e-mail requesting that we stop playing games and replace this with a new or reman from Ford. Either that or its court time. I have been without my truck all summer and now its time to stop.
