Rob, The entire story is very important when you are interested in virtually abusing people in forums, if you only have half the story it can backfire. Therefore I like to gather all available information before starting in on a person.
What were you thinking that I was thinking?

Re: Air Bags
Bill, Sharon, and Toby,
Welcome to the club. I hope you find this post and it is helpful with your decision about air bags for your truck.
I have a 3150 Cardinal with 3 slides and my pin weight is 2100# I pull it with a 2500 HD Chevy. When I hook it up it drops the truck about 2 inches. I noticed when traveling at night that my lights were shining high which seemed to bother other drivers because of the angry flashes from their brites. Anyway I bought and installed a set of Firestone Ride Rites and really like them. The ride improved. I get alot less bounce when hit things like bridge approaches and RR tracks.
If you decide to install them let me know and I will share some of the short cuts I learned that might help you out.
