Tire, Bridgestone Duravis R250

Post by Jash »

Has anyone used the Bridgestone Duravis R250 on their trucks. They have the size that will fit my truck. I would rather have michlins but id have to go up a size.

John, do the Michelin tires match an optional tire size for your truck?

Jeff, not sure if there was an optional tire size offered for the 2011 / 3500. The Michelin brand and size were listed as standard equipment on the window sticker.

If you are looking at steel ply carcass tires for your truck. The Bridgestone Duravis M895 All Season might me a better choice. Still a steel ply carcass, but a better tread pattern for a drive axle. The R250 is more of a Rib tread than the Michelin XPS RIB!!! Tire :-B :-B

GM does not show an optional tire for the truck, Michlin will only recomend the OEM size.

I replaced them at about 45,000 miles, they still looked good but we were heading out on a cross-country trip and I wanted good tires. I have about 35,000 on the second set. Noise was not an issue. The only thing they do is when I turn hard on say my cement apron going into my garage they leave marks on the cement. When I need new tires I will use the same tire, I like them.

Thanks Jim Sounds like a good endorsement to me for the Duravis! That is one of the tires Snoking has recommended as well!
