For the difference between an F350 and an F250 (2011 and later):

After 2011, F250s have one fewer leaf and vacuum boosted brakes while F350s get hydroboost (diesels only).

I also believe but cannot confirm that the block on the rear end is bigger in the F350.
Otherwise all is the same. I bought an F350 for the brake difference. The leaf issue can be fixed quickly with airbags.

We will probably look into airbags if everything else works out as we are still working with the insurance folks. We were wondering about the listed pin weight though. Is that fully loaded with a generator, washer / dryer, and water? The new models have another removable weight sticker in the door jam. It does not list pin weight.

The listed approximate weights in the brochure are for a standard built unit without over the top options like Generator, washer and dryer, 6 -point jack system, etc.
The should weigh it after being built and list actual weight information on the VIN sticker for the unit.

Thats what we thought, however, the salesman showed us this new sticker that we have never seen before. The Pin weight was listed on the VIN sticker. I was just hoping it would be lighter

We are using Cincinnati Ins Co. We did loose a pretty good bit, but they gave us top retail [NADA Book] and money for the tree removal which we did ourselves. They also waived the deductable. We knew when you buy new, you loose value quickly. Unfortunatly we did not have replacement Ins. Added gap ins 2 years ago and after 2 weeks they removed it and said they could not write it. Tried 2 other companies and they also would not write it. The new camper has replacement Ins underwitten by RLI I think. DW can give you the details just email us. Rate was very good. We did not have to haggle at all with Cincinnati and they have been very prompt so far. The sale price on this helped offset the loss. I will have to write a check this week for the loss part though. Oh well . Anyway, we can wait to head out to SUNNY SOUTH FLORIDA in 2 weeks with the new bird. :ymparty: . DW is ecstatic . I know we will have qestions about the new one.

We use Good Sam replacement insurance, the policy is written as stated ( first two years of age, your camper will be replaced in full with same options, and $3,000 contents replacement) (after two years of campers age you will be paid the original paid invoice cost plus any documented cost of installed options and $3,000 contents replacement.
I think the added cost is well worth it if you feel your trailer remains in great condition and you know you cannot replace it for [NADA Book] value.

We agree. If you have a camper, I would recommend replacement insurance. Even if you don't owe on it. The cost is very small

So glad everything worked out for you guys.
Keep us posted on your trip to Fl. We are going down in May. Going to meet our Kids and Grandkids for a week at Disneyworld. We are going to stay at one of the resorts but will be camping and taking a bunch of extra time coming and going.
