Wanted: The oval light that goes between sofa and dinette

Post by Double D's »

Hey, if you are upgrading to a better light, or have already done so and have this thing sitting on a shelf, I NEED one! Let me know and I will pay for it, or at least for shipping. It will be the oval brushed nickel thing that is so bright. THANKS! Donna

Hello Donna,

I have seen them at campimg world also, they stock many types of Rv lights in the store but they also have a book with lights you can order.

You probably could order one from Cardinal. We have one but don't use it very often, it's just to bright.

I know you can BUY one new fellas, but I am CHEAP!! LOL! We took ours out and put a swing arm lamp in it's place, but now I want to put ours and another one above the bed and get rid of the plastic lights. Several folks have done the same thing - replacing with a more functional light, so I thought maybe somebody might have one sitting. I need only one more!
Thanks anyway for the suggestions guys! Donna

No, Dear, ours went to the under cabinet area above the dresser, and we have yours to be 'one' of the ones we need above the bed, so we need another for the other side! (I am OLD, but not THAT old.......) LOL!)

Really easy fix if light is too bright. Put a lower wattage bulb in fixture. Have not done ours yet as we hope to get out this weekend for first outing

ok...so let me get this straight....the lights directly over your head by the bed...you did put in lower wattage bulbs cause the lights were bright.....right???

The light between the sofa and dinette, like mine was so bright it was like a searchlight, that's one of the reasons you took it down and put the swing arm light.....right ???

NOWWWW....you are looking for another searchlight to put on the wall by each of your heads in the bedroom right??????

What am I not getting here?????

(Watch out everyone...here comes "Donna Logic" =))

Yes, Dear, we DID put in lower wattage bulbs in those lights above the bed, but they are PLASTIC, so I want to put the nickel ones above where the plastic ones are, and put low watt bulbs in THOSE. AND only one bulb per light, instead of 2 that are usually in it. Then it will be as dim as the plastic ones are, (we don't read in there), but they will be NICE looking.....
And THAT is Donna Logic!!!!!
