Swivelwheel trailer 58 model. See the swivelwheel site at swivelwheel.com for more info. Comes with spare wheel/tire (tire worn but useable). 1000 lb capacity tested for over 10K miles and works really well. Upgrading to a different method of motorcycle transport and wanting to sell for what I can get out of it. Make me an offer! ($500 ish) Very limited delivery area. Yes Bruce what are you going to be using. Your swivelwheel is working great for you.

New device will be revealed around Nov 1, until then I still have my rack type carrier if I can sell this somewhere along the road. It really does work well for about any type of excess cargo.

I wonder if some states would let me carry my mother in law back there? Now that word be worth it two fold!!!!

I think that qualifies as "on" trailers not in but I'd bolt a lazyboy with a lap belt on it

How about some 3 ft tall stakebed/livestock sides and a cargo net? Boy now it's me hoping your mother-in-law never reads this!

Bruce could you post some pictures of the trailer hitch your using for the swivel wheel trailer. Ive been thinking about getting the 58DW because Sometimes I want to take my golf cart and sometimes I want my Harley. Also have you ever had a problem with law enforcement saying its a trailer. Maybe I should wait to see your new system.

Joe, I've never had a problem with law enforcement about it being a second trailer, and I took it through the NE this year in several states that do not allow doubles. The new system will be prohibitively expensive, for now I'll just go back to the rack on the hitch, I bought the swivelwheel for wife's 3 wheel bike and my motorcycle, the 3 wheeler is now my fathers as she never rode it. I had the hitch done by a welding shop that specialized in custom applications of hitches on the west side of Houston, I believe it was called Smitty's.

Thanks I really need to look into a trailer like this.Im thinking of the dual wheel one because the bike weighs almost 900 lbs. Did you ever have tire problems and how fast do you go with it on.

Dual wheel would make it much more stable for loading a large bike. Mine wobbles a bit with the 500 lbs approx of me with my bike. Only tire problem was the original tire was improperly installed onto the rim and bulged along the bead, had a new tire mounted and all was well. I have worn out one tire after approx 12K miles and now use it as a spare. I tow it at 65 mph the tire rating and no problems there. You do need to adjust the friction at around each 2K miles or it will begin to wobble (only visually, no affect to towing vehicle), adjustment is simple after you do it a couple times you get a feel for it and do not need to jack it up each time.

Bruce thanks for your help Ive been wanting information for a while. I want to take my bike on our vacation but no way do I want a toy hauler. I think this will be the way I go.
