I bought a new hitch and the dealer that installed it for me took my old 18K Reese on consignment. It took several months but he paid me $800. He said that because he got to install it and do some other work for the person buying it that he was happy with the deal. I don’t know what he sold the hitch for, but I felt like I got a good price for it.

Something to consider.
