2 Birds on I-40

Post by Don Wilson »

We spotted two Cardinals this morning when we were heading to Albuquerque. Both were East bound on I-40 the first at 11:43 am being pulled by a maroon tow vehicle at mile marker 243 which is near the Flying C exit. I thought it looked like traveler II by looking at his avatar.

The second was at mile marker 228 near Clines Corner NM at 12:05 pm. I didn't notice the tow vehicle because I was taken by suprise because they were not only towing the Cardinal but also a small SUV behind the bird. I assume they were snow birds heading home.

When we were fueling the truck in Kingman AZ on Thursday there was a Cardinal at the dump station! I talked to them about the Cardinal RV Club and gave them a card. They were from Kingman and he said his wife had just come back from Texas and he had to take care of dumping the poop and didn't even get to enjoy the trip!

We will see if they join!
