285 NM 2/14

Today we were on our way back to Los Alamos heading north on 285 about 15 miles from Vaughn, NM...we past a Cardinal heading south. We were waving, but we were in a red 350 Z(crazy blonde waving
)
Also we rode through a RV Cg in Hobbs ,NM as we were heading towards Lovington,NM.....saw a Cardinal(nice paint job
) truck had NM plates. It was about 9:30am. We were afraid the occupants may still be sleeping so we didn't stop

On the other hand, once I actually passed a Cardinal. Glancing at the diver I didn't think it was wise to honk the horn and give a "High Five". Calm winds, straight freeway and no traffic, and the gent was "SO FOCOUSED!"

Are you kidding me....I strain my eyes and hurt my neck looking for Cardinals coming at us when we are hauling Lil Red or not

Just south of Santa Nella there was a silver Dodge pulling a Cardinal on southbound I5 today. We waved and actually got a wave in return!

Drove thru Brazos Bend State Park today (near (Damon ,Texas) and saw three Cardinal 5ers. One was a park host and the other two were campers. This is the most cardinals I have come across at one time except at a rally.
