If in the back section, that is Mel & his wife (I've forgotten her name), very friendly folks stop by & say Hi to them.

Yes, do say hi, Mel's camper is the one sitting to the right when looking toward the bridge to the back of the park. His nose cap faces the park.

We had a GREAT day here yesterday! Weather was perfect, they all liked the food and service was very tasteful and fun!

Sad note: we just found out this morning that a dear friend of ours passed yesterday afternoon.. he found out just 2 WEEKS ago that he had terminal cancer............. life is SO darn short......... love your friends....You just NEVER know.....

We are down here in Topeka for the funeral tomorrow and it is a sad time AND a happy time all at once... Bob did not suffer long and we have been reminiscing about how much FUN he was to be around and how VERY much in love he was with Cheryl... They only had 10 VERY short years together, but it was a love like some people NEVER will know.... My heart is just breaking for her..... Bob was SO much fun and he said he wanted NO tears or sadness when he passed, he wanted a big ol Kegger of beer and to sit around the fire pit and tell funny jokes.. That was Bob......
