It’s a small and surprising world. Heading west on I-20 in Texas, trying to outrun bad weather, we were at a rest stop. Walking back to our rig we see this couple with big smiles walking toward us. Lo and behold, it was Patty and Torben, also trying to beat the weather. The four of us camped last night and talked about places to go and things to see, it was great fun.
The wonderful thing about a forum like this is the friendships you make no matter what direction life takes you.

We’re slowing working our way to Monterey, CA to be with family for Christmas, we’re at the Hacienda RV Resort in Las Cruces for a few days right now. Torben and Patty are heading home.

Well Mike its 39 right now but was down to 28 last night. It's a beautiful sunny days and looking at the mountains out our back window is great. The good news it's -11 back home so we're glad we're here. We're going to stay another day and pull out on Monday.
