HI.
Wondering what I should be looking for in a 5th wheel hitch.
The 37rl is 15500 . Doubt it will ever be that loaded. (Single guy).
I assume 16k hitch would be adequate going on to a long box dually.
What else should I consider?
Tks

What year is your truck and does it have the factory prep package?

Is your truck a long bed or short bed?

Re: hitch for 37rl
I would go with the 20K (or 22K if you use Reese). Any 16K hitch on a 15500 lb trailer is too close to margins for my liking. Cost is not significantly different. Be safe.

It's a 3500 fully equipped for towing (used commercially) . Full box
